Education has been made the fundamental right of every Indian recently.But Late Manoharbhai Patel, the Founder President of Gondia Education Society, envisioned this Pious dream more than five decades ago and sowed the seeds of education in this region. With a vision of providing quality science education to the socially and economically Backward people of the region, GES Society established Smt. Rewaben Manoharbhai Patel Girls College, Bhandara in 1995-96.

With the sweeping changes in Global Standards of Education, many radical changes in the infrastructure, staff and administration were made to meet the changing needs. As a Result of it, today, the College is successfully running 13 UG and 02 PG Courses and many Job-oriented and skill-based courses under one roof.

As an innovative measure towards the overall development of the students. It is a dual expertise programme where a student is provided job-oriented and skill-based training in a particular area along with his regular curriculum. These Career Oriented Programmes are conducted under Jeevan Shikshan Abhiyan Of RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.
