Gondia Education Society is a pioneering education society of Eastern Vidarbha. Great Visionary and the Epitome of Humanity Late Manoharbhai Patel laid its Foundation in 1958 with the sole aim of bringing light of knowledge and Prosperity in the otherwise darkened lives of the socially and economically Backward people of the region. Considering the need of providing quality science education to this rural population, Smt. Rewaben Manoharbhai Patel Mahila Kala Mahavidyalaya,Bhandara was established in 1995-96.

With the unprecedented changes in all the spheres of life due to the advent of globalization, an urgent need was felt to upgrade the standard of education. Now The college has been making all possible efforts to provide World Standard Education with the latest and the best infrastructure to the students of this rural Area in order to train and equip to compete with the global students.

Moreover to make these students employable, some supplementary education in the form of job-oriented and skill-based courses is given to them. A special training is given to them to hone their other faculties in order to develop their all round Personality.

I hope that the college will march ahead on the path of progress and the coming generation of students would prove true to the golden history of the institutions.
